Hi - I have SO missed you all, I am a little over a week now, and recovering well, flew through the surgery, and can honestly say that there was not much pain.
Despite Nigel being away I have been very well looked after. Bev Taylor was a rock and Matt has been a star. Although he has stopped bringing me a coffee in bed now, he has been up early every day, sorting the rabbits, cat, washing etc.
I am going to really struggle with the lack of activity, and will start a walking programme next week. Doing nothing is so horrible. How do people who don't exercise cope? I am so looking forward to starting classes again on January 7th
Client of the month is Bev Taylor, not for looking after me, but for working so well around her recent shoulder surgery. Bev was back in class within the week. To start with just came for the stretch at the end, then did the floorwork, and gradually worked up to the full class. But made sure all the way through she was doing what she could to work what she could to make sure she kept active and as fit as possible.
I was not convinced I would remember both my Cardio Dance and Pure Step routines, so had the bright idea of filming them. Many thanks to the girls who let me film their feet as they did the routine. No pressure at all to get it right :)
Goodie bags - although we started these at the end of November, I will carry these on through January, so make sure I put a smiley face by your name on the chart, every time you come to class
