First mention has to go to Sara J, who made full use of her week of free classes, and not only stepped out of her comfort zone to do the Tuesday dance around class, but looked fantastic in it, Sara also did the tough stuff Pilates on Thursday evening after her regular step and tone session. I will be doing more goodies like this again shortly, so keep a watch on facebook and in the class.
Big it up to all of you who worked hard to track down my Apple and Ginger drink, I am very grateful, it’s a lovely drink and I really missed it while I could not get it.
If you remember last month I commented on how excited I am to be stepping again, and the difference its having in my waistline is now obvious. I have been speaking to a couple of you who commented that a step the same size as mine would help them, so I have now ordered two more low steps. If you need to use the low steps be sure to arrive early.
Facebook –I am loving the feedback and comments on the class site –Debbie Saunders Workouts, keep up the good work
Yoga starts again on Tuesday 20th April a 6 week course. Cost £24.
Calories killers, ALL the classes have upped their game and this is showing in the calories being burnt, on average the dance fitness and step classes are burning between 400-500 calories a session. Good news if you are doing classes to keep an eye on your body shape.

This year's theme for Coeliac Awareness Week is FREE FOR TEA.
We are doing a gluten free cream tea from Tuesday 11th May until Sunday 16th of May...very exciting. But as you all know you can have gluten free lunch, brunch, cake and more any time of the day, night or year with us at The Alasia.
On Wednesday 12th of May I am hosting a cooking demonstration as you know I am now in the kitchen as well as owner, manager, hostess, and everything else....busy, busy, busy. But loving it.
So I thought what better way to show off than to show you a few little bits and pieces from our kitchen for you to try at home. So, here are the details:
When: Wednesday 12th May 2010
Time: From 3:30pm for the cookery demonstration
From 2:30pm to hear from our very good friend Wendy Langley who is a dietician and nutritionist and she will speak about the importance of a gluten free diet, and also about her role as a nutritionist in keeping us in check with our very special diet.
Remember that we are a very relaxed environment - not stress please. Leave all worries and stresses at the door.
The cooking demonstration and talk is free, but all we ask is that you at least buy a drink from us, and hopefully some goodies. Please telephone 01934 621 471 to book your spot with us.
Tesco vouchers –the gym club is collecting these, please bring any into the club and put in the box provided –thanks
Calling all bookworms – we are still collecting books for our booksale, please bring in any unwanted books in good condition, I will give you all plenty of notice for the sale, all books will be 30p each, cant be bad!
Collect moments – Just for today I would like you to collect moments, things that should make you smile, but because of our busy lives we rarely have time to notice, so notice when the sun shines, when a child giggles, when you hear a lovely piece of music, when someone in a shop smiles at you, listen to birdsong, see how many of these moments you can collect today.
